Event ID 1000 Faulting Application Taskhost.Exe

Recently my pc began Minimizing games to the desktop at random. I've tried all solutions i can find via google searches and have come up empty handed. The problem is still happening. When i check my tasks for processes running all looks normal. Today i decided to Run Event viewer. I Cleared the logs and started fresh, Jumped into a game played about 20 minutes or so and boom, minimized. The event viewer under application showed the error :

Im running AMD Phenom(tm)II x4 965 Processor 3.41 GHz

4.00GB ram

64-bit OS with a AMD Radeon HD 5700 Series card.

This is all Jargon to me. Can anyone explain to me in the simplest of forms what is occurring and what might be done to correct this issue ? PLEASE HELP..Thank you.
