"This computer is not running genuine windows"

The last 2 days a window has been popping suddenly on my computer telling me that my Windows is not genuine. After researching in several forums I could gather
that this problem has something to do with Update kb971033, which I installed. I know my copy of Windows 7 Ultimate is genuine: I bought it at Amazon.com.
From what I understand the above mentioned update is geared toward confirm or ascertain that the software the computer  is running is authentic.("Windows Activation Technologies helps you confirm that the copy of Windows 7 that is running on your computer is genuine. Additionally, Windows Activation Technologies helps protect against the risks of counterfeit software. Windows Activation Technologies in Windows 7 consists of activation and validation components that contain anti-piracy features").
My computer is current on updates, I know I have genuine Windows 7 installed, my Windows 7 software is activated with the key product number that appears on the inside of the case the dvds came in, so what's going on? Though the window with such message keeps popping on my screen I haven't noticed any problems with my normal usage of my computer so far. How can I get rid of this nuisance?

                             Thanks
