My Windows 8.1 laptop - Asus N56 running an i7, 8gb ram, gt650m. Anyway, I encountered an issue that just started yesterday in which the computer will become unresponsive if I leave it for several minutes and then come back. If I continually use it it seems to work fine without any issues. I thought it might be a glitch when the screen tries to shut off / go to sleep, so I told it to never go off, but that did not make a difference.
The cursor can still be moved and you can see things, but nothing will actually happen when things are clicked on etc. To get things going again I have to hold the power button till it turns off and then restart.
Any thoughts as to where I should start troubleshooting and looking at? Thanks for your help! :)
